Yes tzatziki really does go with everything! From fries, to meatballs, to salads, to vege sticks. Name it! It goes with it! Suffice to say, this is one dish that anyone can prepare at home, and prepare it well!

INGREDIENTS: 

  • Greek Yogurt (original)
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 1-3 cloves of garlic
  • Papa's Grove Oregano
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Papa's Grove EVOO

First things first: REAL Greek yogurt is key. Only find those that actually comes from Greece. Forget the Australian ones. Yogurt made the Greek way is characteristically thick. To test it scoop the yogurt with a fork and turn it upside down. does it hold? if yes then it feels right!

Grate the cucumber and mix it with the yogurt together with some salt, pepper & oregano. Add some olive oil and the thinly grated garlic. The more the garlic the stronger the taste (and aftertaste :-)). We Greeks tend to like It on the stronger end of the scale so two cloves is minimum!

Mix everything and let it in settle in the fridge for a bit. Drizzle some olive oil before serving.
